I hope you did well on the cell organelle quiz today!
Homework- Most of you started and perhaps finished reading the article on prokaryotes, eukaryotes and archea bacteria in class. If you did not complete the graphic organizers that go with them, please do so by Monday. Archea bacteria are unique in that they make their own food, but they are not plants.

All the re-takes have been graded. If your score was better I have replaced the one you indicated to replace.
Some of you really made a difference in your grade! Great job! I am pleased to see that even students that high scores in the 80's still tried to improve. Trust me, every point matters at the end of the year when yoiur final average is calculatedf and placed on your transcript for college.
Remember that your benchmark I score will go in 5th quarter, not the 1st quarter.
No homework tonight, but if you did not complete the packet from class yesterday, it is due tomorrow.
I hope you enjoyed looking at the slides in lab today.
Tomorrow we will take noes on cell parts.

Most people that took the re-take test today scored better than the test/quiz they wanted to replace. By the lunch tomorrow, I will have all replacement grades in the system for the test or quiz you indicated later today or tomorrow morning.
I won't have your benchmark scores until next week. At that time, I will enter the grades into the 5th quarter.
Tomorrow we will be viewing objects under the microscope and sketching them! We will meet in J203.
Homework: Finish the intro to cells packet you got in class today. It is due Wednesday the 26th. The quarter ends this day.

I hope you did well on the PSAT today.
My daughter is sick so that is why I was not at school today. Even if I were there, I would not have seen the morning classes due to testing and the afternoon classes were watching a movie anyway, so we are not behind at all.
Tomorrow we will finish enzymes.
Quiz is Friday.
