Today we will continue to review using the powerpoint notes I gave you yesterday.
Please make sure that you look over the notes tonight. There is so much to remember, but you all are doing a great job!
Try to stay focused the next few weeks and it will really pay off when you score Advanced on your HSA!
Looking ahead: Tomorrow we will review genetics using punnets squares and sex linked traits.

Today we went over benchmark 3 answers and started to review for benchmark 4.
Benchmark 4 will be cumulative from the beginning of the year.

Tomorrow we will begin Benchmark 4 review. This test will be next Tuesday May 3rd.
After the benchmark we begin reviewing for the HSA. The HSA is May 17th. It willbe here before you know it.

Finish your worksheet on Succesion if you did not get to it in class.
Unit Ecology Test is tomorrow.

Today we finished our test review in class and you worked on answering questions on invasive species.
Both of these are due tomorrow.
We will do a pre-test in class tomorrow.
Our ecology test is Thursday 4/14.

Friday-you will work on a cycles booklet in class. The directions and everything you need to complete it are provided. The booklet is due Tuesday 4/11.
Cycles Quiz - 4/11

I hope you did well on your vocabulary quiz today. If you were absent, please make it up during B lunch tomorrow. 
Homework: Finish the packet on diversity and succession that you started after the quiz in class today.
Tomorrow we will begin cycles (water, carbon, nitrogen and phosphorous).

Today we reviewed food webs/food chains and the flow of energy in ecosystems. Remember that biomass and available energy decrease in food webs and food chains as energy is transferred from one organism to another.
Homework: finish the packet on interactions in communities.
