Cell Transport

Today we tested on cells and began cell transport. Cell transport in in your textbook on pages 175-183.
Homework: complete the worksheet pages 79-81 only. This is in the packet that you picked up after the test today.

No homework other than to study for our unit cell test that will be given tomorrow.

Finish the backside of the science skills worksheet.  the benchmark has been recorded and grades are pretty much final at this time.  Most of you got an A or B on the benchmark!  Only a handful of C's. Great job!
Cell test Thursday. Look over all your worksheets and the power point notes.

Finish the worksheet on alike/differences in plant and animal cells.
Cell test Thursday Oct 28th. Know all cell parts, alik/diff of prokaryotes and eukaryotes.

Study for our unit test being given tomorrow.
Pep Rally tomorrow- Wear school colors to show school spirit for your class.

Homework- Study your notes and worksheets for the unit test.
Know all the building blocks, functions and examples of each biomolecule ( water, carbs, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids).

Finish the review packet on biomolecules tonight.
Tomorrow we will complete a pre-test together in class.
Remember to wear white if you are a freshman and gray is you are a sophmore tomorrow!!!

Please read over the power point notes today on proteins and nucleic acids.  Look over the top of the notes on water, carbs and lipids too. You have to know all this stuff.

Read and complete the questions on your "glowing puppies" article.
