Remember- Benedicts solution indicates a monosaccarhide when heated because it turns orange (ex. glucose). Di and poly saccharides will not react.
Iodine indicates a polysacchahide and it turns black when added to a polysaccharide (ex. starch).
Disaccharides do not react with either solution (ex. sucrose).

Today you were given time in class with your lab group to complete the lab papers that your group will be handing in.  This should include the sedign an experiment sheet, how you collected data (include it), and the procedure.  Staple these three together and make sure your name and all of your lab member's names on on the packet.
Homework: Complete the BCR on the double blind study tonight.
